I stayed at home the other day to watch the episodes of Mad Men I had saved up. Words
cannot describe how much I love this show. If I could marry it, I probably would. I love
Don, I Peggy, I think I love Roger most of all. The amount of precision put into every
detail on this show is awe-inspiring. If I could write a story like that one day, direct
anything close to it, I am a content woman.
I don’t write, nor do I direct. But I do get to put my creative energy into my blog and
photography, something I have thoroughly enjoyed doing lately. There’s just nothing
like shooting a great batch of photos. I get a kick out of it. To think that there are people
who get paid to do this sort of fulfilling, gratifying work. It’s odd – but then again I guess it isn’t.
I was excited to receive my package from Cluse Watches the other day. It has been
featured on other blogs and social media numerous of times (and with reason). It’s a
watch that needs no introduction really. Cluse watches are simple and elegant, minimal
and sophisticated. It’s a watch you could wear to dress up your plain T-shirt and jeans
look or elevate your little black dress for a night on the town.
I could get into the watch’s ultrathin 7mm rose gold case and gorgeous petrol blue leather
strap. I could tell you about the stylish look of the watch and that it runs on a durable
Japanese quartz movement. And that it’s a must in every woman’s closet. But I won’t.
I know you’re thinking it already anyway.
On an entirely different note: I reached 5k on my Instagram last night. A massive thank
you to you guys! I’m humbled and it’s been a blast shooting and publishing my
photos on my feed. I feel so excited to continue on this road with you guys.
