I’m sorry for keeping you guys waiting for the next Alex Invites post. This post was supposed to go up last week but a million things came in between and it messed up my schedule. Note to self: hire an assistant (or get better at planning).
Two weeks ago was the last edition of Alex Invites and this edition featured Lars Lundø from Pony in Copenhagen. I am not familiar with Danish cuisine, other than the things I’ve seen served at Noma (although I don’t know if Noma falls under typical Danish cuisine). Lars Lundø brought the menu some exciting dishes!
We start with two snacks of felt flatbread with cheese crème, Jerusalem artichoke and dried chanterelles. The crème (photo) was so buttery and beautifully whipped – this is how soft you want all spreads to be. The second snack of burrata with pickled beetroot in raspberry vinegar was incredible.
