Dark Fall Affairs

Dark Fall Affairs Grey Flatlay

Amsterdam, The Netherlands

With the fall season falling upon us, it’s getting colder and darker. I love fall season for two reasons: the bright orange colors surrounding us (at least, before it really gets cold) and getting out my dark colors. I’m talking black and grey knits, dark red lips, and brown smokey eyes. There’s nothing more mysterious and seductive than dark fall colors!

We’ve got some essentials to create (or complete) your dark fall look!

Replica Maison Martin Margiela Promenade in the Gardens

One of my favorite products for this fall is the Replica (by Maison Martin Margiela) perfume in Promenade in the Gardens.

The perfume is a light floral scent with notes of sandalwood, vetiver, peony and patchouli. I’ve been wearing this all summer but because of its woody notes, it’s a perfect fall scent to wear by day.

And honestly, how gorgeous is the bottle?!

Dark fall looks cannot be complete without dark nails.

Essie recently came out with the Gel Couture collection and one color in particular – Twill Seeker – is one you need to have this fall.

The color is a stunning deep purple with a green shimmer.

Don’t like to go all dark? Opt for Make the cut – a beautiful nude greige.

YSL Paris Couture Variation Palette

For your eyes, the YSL Paris Couture Variation eye palette is all you need.

The palette includes dark matte browns, pearly pinks, and deep shimmery purple shades.

This season it’s all about combining brown and red/pink shades – this palette is perfect for that!

You cannot go wrong with a red lipstick this fall, especially when it’s a deep matte red.

And when it comes to red lips, Chanel has some of the best shades in my opinion.

This fall, Chanel has released a collection that is all focused on reds. My favorite is The Chanel No. 56 in Charnel – a rich crimson/burgundy shade.

Chanel No 5 New Perfume

Last but not least, a perfume made for the night.

The Chanel No.5 perfume has been an iconic scent for decades.

The new bottle design brings more elegance and sophistication.

With notes of ylang-ylang, lemon, neroli, cedar wood and white musk, it’s a seductive and alluring scent.
