There’s just something about Las Vegas, isn’t there? That makes you worry less about adult life and the problems that come with it. Suddenly you’re able to put things into perspective again. You wonder why you ever stressed so much about things. All you want to do now is explore, eat, shop, party, spend! I bet they put something in the air, it must be. Either way, we spent three days in Las Vegas last month but we could easily have stayed there all week. We stayed at the LinQ Hotel. Curious to see? Here are our most memorable moments at the LinQ!
1. LinQ Pool
After spending your whole day shopping and sightseeing, you want to take a time out and relax by the pool for a minute. It was over ninety degrees when we were there, which it probably always is, so this was the perfect way to cool down. There’s a DJ playing all day, which made it all the more fun. If you go, reserve yourself a daybed (comes with umbrella) – you won’t regret it!
2. High Roller
The High Roller is a must-visit when you’re in Las Vegas. During the day, the view should be lovely. But go there at night and you’ll have a stunning view guaranteed. Plus, few things are more romantic than spending your night with your loved one in the sky. Am I right?
3. Bar 3535
No day in Vegas is complete without at least one alcoholic beverage. I am quite picky when it comes to cocktails. We had an absolutely thrilling experience at 3535, the infusion bar at LinQ. I can’t remember the last time we were this surprised by a cocktail. I like my cocktails clean, sweet and fresh, but I’m always up for something creative. I recommend: JFK (blue cheese & olive-infused Aviation gin, dry vermouth, garnished with blue cheese-stuffed olives), Carmen (banana & clove infused Zaya 12 year rum, RumChata, coconut cream, a dash of cinnamon, garnished with toasted coconut) and my favorite, Wat-a-pear (watermelon & rosemary-infused Tito’s Handmade vodka, St-Germain liqueur, fresh watermelon juice). We were most impressed by the bar’s signature diamond-shaped cube. The cube is served with the bar’s barrel-aged cocktails. How does this not make this the coolest bar in Las Vegas?
I’m not featuring Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & bar restaurant in this post – those photos deserve to be in a special post! Stay tuned!
