A grand opening
Last week was the grand opening of Maison Moët at luxurious estate Parc Broekhuizen. For a limited period of seven weeks, guests are welcomed into Maison Moët for the ultimate champagne experience. Immerse yourself in a world of luxury and splendour and go for a relaxing getaway with Moët & Chandon.
The party started with an introductory speech from the champagne house. A stunning light animation brought us through the history of Moët & Chandon and back to the present. Of course, there was no lack of sparkling delights. Champagnes served were the Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial, Vintage 2009 and Vintage Rosé. Along with fresh yuzu oysters, lobster bites and even champagne ice cream cones.
Guests came dressed in the colour of champagne (I chose red for the Vintage Rosé). Like any other Moët party – it was not to be missed.
The grand opening showed us a glimpse of what Maison Moët has to offer.
The enchanted Parc Broekhuizen in Leersum has been transformed into Château de Saran to emulate the original Moët & Chandon house in Epernay. At the estate, 14 suites are made available for guests to indulge in the luxury experience. Book a private BMW pick-up to the maison and get ready to discover the heritage world of the champagne house. Start your stay with a touch up with Givenchy beauty and dress for the occasion with Oso Couture.
A champagne experience isn’t complete without a champagne tasting. Step into the wine cellars and enjoy a five-course champagne dinner paired with Moët & Chandon champagnes. End your day with a sparkling night cap and a movie in the private cinema room.
Sounds like a perfect romantic getaway, no? Well if you can’t go to Epernay, Epernay will have to come to you.
