Oh misty eye of the mountain below… I have been watching The Hobbit trilogy these past few days, all in anticipation of my annual tradition of watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy during the holidays (who’s with me?!). I’m waiting for K to come here to watch it with me. I’ll have my Tony Chocolonely bars ready, a cup of hot coco (who says you can’t do double chocolate) and a blanket. I’m only to be disturbed if there’s an apocalypse or something or if, like, Chanel decides to hold a sale this year. I’d stop for that. Other reasons and I may have to kill you.
This photo was taken in Zurich on the Uetliberg. It was well below zero that day and we were constantly whining about the cold (at least, I was). When we reached the top, we fell completely silent. The sun was shining bright and the sky was the prettiest hue of blue ever – the view was simply breathtaking. It was one of those moments when you feel like, suddenly, the world makes sense again.
