I went for a massage today at the gym. I usually don’t get massages. The last time I had a proper massage was at the Peninsula hotel in Beijing a while back when I was reviewing the hotel. Then my trainer asked me last week if I wanted to give the sports massage a try at the gym. I had no idea what a sports massage was, but figured all massages must be good. That thought didn’t last long because it was a painful experience. At times I felt like my bones were screaming it out and all I wanted to do was run for the door. I can still feel it in my shoulders, where most of the friction was apparently (I blame the blogging!). If it’s true that things that hurt are good for you, then I hope this massage will turn out to be really good for me.

I put together a San Francisco Travel Diary of our time in the city. Oh San Francisco, you have been wonderful. From seeing the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time, to actually visiting the world’s oldest Chinatown (if I’m not mistaken). It may all have been touristy, but that’s how it usually goes when you visit a place for the first time. Besides, we had an amazing time, touristy or not. Anyway, hope you enjoy the photos. And may it inspire you to visit the city as well. We happened to be in San Francisco during a historic event – it was the NBA championship and the Golden State Warriors were playing against the Cleveland Cavaliers. And they won! There was this great atmosphere everywhere in the city. We couldn’t have visited at a better time!

By the way, in case you’ve missed it, I’m doing a photography Q&A this week. I’m collecting all of your photography-related questions this week and I’ll try to answer them in one photography post next week!
