While summer is still in full swing, autumn/winter campaigns are slowly but surely starting to present themselves on the internet. Zara recently
launched its Zara AW13 Campaign with a lookbook and video. The campaign shows a feminine fall collection, with a certain edge that we’re used to from Zara. The collection is urban yet romantic and definitely for the city girl. We’re seeing soft, lush white coats, long and cropped. Long all-black masculine double breasted coats. Lots of cotton trench coats with checked lines. Silk and satin dresses are making a return this fall, as well as floral and printed dresses. I’m looking forward to the asymmetrical skater-like skirt. We’ve been seeing a lot of asymmetrical linings in Zara’s collection lately (like the highly popular asymmetrical summer mini skort). Check out below for the Zara AW13 Campaign photos and video of the women’s collection.
Next, we have the men’s collection. Now, I’m not sure who I’m writing this for as I’m still not sure who my audience is. But I like to include this in the post as well. The men’s collection shows lots of checked overcoats and double-breasted coats with leather details here and there. The men’s collection always carries a great variety of blazers, which can also be seen in the fall collection. Making a return for the fall collection are chinos and leather cropped jackets. Zara’s men’s collections always manage to stay masculine and sleek. The collection is for both the business man and the man on the run. Maybe he’s searching for something, maybe he’s traveling. I don’t have a clue, but the men in the campaign photos do look slightly ambiguous. Check out the Zara AW13 Campaign for the men’s collection below.
Last but not least, the Zara’s TRF collection. The TRF fall collection is playful, edgy and has a get-ready-for-school vibe. It shows a lot of prints: checkered, floral, leopard. I often like to mix and match my closet with TRF items. Do we like the prints though?
What is your favorite from the collection?
